FRINGE lamp

Fringe lamp is another outcome of my experimentation with laser cutting. It is an updated version of the classic fringe lamps dating back to the 1920s, rethinking it in new materials, new technology and geometry.

The material of the top of the shade is powder coated stainless steel, while the bottom kinetic element is made of laser cut paper with a concentric U-shaped pattern that moves gently in the breeze.

The shape of the lamp resembles mussels opening up a little to let light through. It is a classic but modern design that makes an eye-catching accessory.

Fringe lamp was exhibited at Maison & Objet 2021 in Paris (9-13th of September).
